What is the ideal size of an independent development office? We think: Ours. At 360 Engineering, we have experts from invigoratingly diverse cultures and careers working on every aspect of a project, from design to manufacturing. We’ve got enough co-workers to form project-based teams, but not so many that it becomes impossible to further develop as a team.
We’ve got strong-minded team players working for us who can think for themselves – in the office, at the customer’s and out in the open: it’s no coincidence that 360 Engineering is located in the Bavarian mountains, where the test ride starts right on the other side of the road. We live what we work for.

André makes splinters fall. He knows how to drill and turn and has an engineering degree, too. This makes him a competent contact for written stuff like orders just as well as for hands-on work like the “avalanche shovel” project on which he was in charge of the list of requirements, the design coordination, 3D model construction, production data, construction drawing – and of course of some test shovelling with prototypes… His wide field of competence makes André a reliable partner in every project phase.

“Racing is important to develop products further,” says Luca – and leads by example: he has already successfully completed some pretty tough international enduro bike races. The industrial designer naturally likes the fact that the bikes don’t always stay in contact with the ground, because he is also an aeronautical engineer. But when it comes to development projects, Luca is very down to earth. Thanks to his extensive experience as chief designer and development engineer, he combines good design and practical feasibility.

But what furthermore makes Luca a perfect fit for our team is his curiosity when it comes to everyday (work) life and the rest of the world. You can tell that the spirit is right, when someone refurbishes a VW camper van as a school project, is into competitive trial biking and delves into the detailed development of shoe-pedal friction and the loads on a mountain bike frame in action at university.

He could have printed “Founder and President” in golden letters on his business cards, but this is not Timo’s style. No frills, but full focus on the goal. He’s already acted on this maxim at the turn of the millennium, when he became German cross-country champion in the under-23 age group, and never stopped: during his engineering studies, Timo gained experience as a developer in the bike industry before setting up his own project with 360 Engineering in 2006. Dynamism and vision are also the basic ingredients of his sporting passions: biking, kite surfing, surfing, ski touring… The main thing is that things move forward and remain exciting
